It is Tuesday. Better than Monday. Work week going great so far. I'm loving my new position and just finished my first assignment! Yay me!

Oh yeah, while it's fresh on my mind.....

Believe me, at the beginning I was like, I can't write a blog. What will I write about? Who will read it?

But I'm here to say...Who cares! LOL. Just write off the top of your head, put some fun pics and graphics in, and there you go. You have a blog. Some days are funny and dumb. Some days are more serious with a focus. Best part---there are NO rules. What! What!

Ok. The topic on my mind today is EXPECTATION.

We tend to "expect" God to create miracles or answer prayers right away.

I know myself and I have tended to get frustrated with God or wonder if he was even there.

How come some people get all this good luck and happiness and I'm stuck here struggling! Not fair.

But then you come around and start feeling thankful for what you do have and it INDEED could be alot worse.

My older bro, Ethan, came across Dr. Mike Murdock and liked his speaking and readings. My mom passed them on to me thinking I would enjoy them. Well he had a pamphlet on Expectation.

He begins... "Hope Is Expectation."

~Faith is confidence in God. Expectation is the evidence of your faith.~

I liked this quote.

To me, it's kinda like the Law of Attraction.

The Law states: "I attract to myself, whatever I give my focus, attention, or energy to; whether wanted or unwanted." If you think about being broke, poor, lonely and believe your thoughts, guess what? That is exactly what you'll be.

Everything comes to us through the most elemental law of physics - Like Attracts Like! It is absolute and has nothing to do with your personality, your religious beliefs, being a "good" or a "bad" person or anything else.

~~This way of living is difficult to maintain but I am going to start making an effort to change my negative thoughts when I can. Hey. It at least makes for a happier life. :)

Today is my big 28th bday! Wow! 30 is getting pretty darn close!!!!! <sigh>

Well... the "hype" here in H-Town is the SNOW that's coming. It is now 8:30 PM and no snow yet. Where is it?  hmmmmmm.....

However my friends...it is indeed FREEZING outside so I'm cozied up in my bed watching the DVD- "Date Night" featuring Steve Carell and Tina Fey. I saw it in the movie theatre and it is freaking hilarious. So when I was out doing my errands earlier I snagged it from the Red Box machine. If you haven't seen it, it's a MUST SEE!!

This is definitely one of those nights I wished my apartment had a fireplace. Oooohh I can just picture curled up on the couch with your loved one drinking some fine wine in front of the fireplace with some relaxing music playing in the background....

Got an email from work saying the office is closed tomorrow. This is going to be a long, boring weekend. I need to find a project to get into in case I'm trapped indoors.

My birthday is tomorrow (Whoopie.) Won't be much celebrating this weekend so my friend might hook it up for next weekend. I could for sure use a fun night out with dancing and drinking and laughter. Just let loose AND...

The Blog is kinda short tonight folks. My brain is just not feeling a topic of interest at the moment. I've been doing some researching on the web so more to come soon. I did come across that Annie = "Prayer". I found that interesting. I also took it as a "hint hint". As in-- I need to do more of it.

Well, I'm still getting a feel for this whole blog stuff. So far, So good!

Random, fun and funky!!

First off....

I must begin with this totally cool bracelet I bought today.... (Yes, I know I'm pale. Hey its winter people!)

I got it for $10 bucks at one of my FAVORITE girly girl boutiques~~~~Charming Charlie!! love them!

So the news forecast says it might SNOW this Friday...

...which happens to be my (drum roll)....BIRTHDAY! The big 28! Yikes! Its all good though! I just want to accomplish a few things before I'm 30...so I have a little time. Anywho... Im really digging this blog thing. I have always loved to write & I'm always hearing the benefits of "journaling", just cant seem to put my pen to the paper. This, however, is fun and animated and actually pretty easy. ~~

So.... today was more pics than writing.... but oh well every day is different. :)

Tonight is Wine and American Idol!!! oops. scratch that! It comes on tomorrow. I guess it will be just wine then tonight! <not complaining>

A little in the moment...
